Meet Nathan, a senior at Webster Thomas High School.  Now, I thought I'd been to most locations in the Webster area for senior portraits, but this young man introduced me to one I hadn't been to, Four Mile Creek Preserve. Perfect!

Nathan loves being outside and the trail that winds through this section of town really was an awesome spot for his portraits.  With a barn next door, fall colors (something that he really was hoping for) and a beautiful day, we couldn't miss with this senior session.

I so enjoyed getting to know Nathan better (yep another student I've known for a while :) and sharing some laughs with mom as well.  Every spot we chose in this one location gave us unique backdrops for some really great images. Nathan did a nice job! He was patient and thoughtful and I was so pleased with the results of our efforts.

Creating a fun, memorable senior experience they won't forget is something I provide for each session.  Clients love the option of combining multiple images for their wall art and I love providing them with truly beautiful pieces.

Nathan, I wish you all the best with these last few weeks of your senior year and happiness in whatever you choose to do in your future. Thank you for choosing Hayes Photography!!!

It's hard for me to believe this young lady is a high school senior!  I've known Mikah and her family since she was very little and although I have three children of my own and have seen them grow, graduate and begin their adult lives, each time I photograph a senior I've known for a long time, it makes me take pause.  There's nothing like watching kids grow up to make you feel old!

Photographing Mikah was nothing short of spectacular!  Despite the heat, Mikah was calm and cool as we worked our way around Locust Hill Country Club.  Why the country club?  Mikah, who spends a lot of time there, is an incredibly talented golfer and has been at it since she was 8 years old.  Among her numerous awards are back to back titles as champion for Section Five, Monroe County and All-Greater Rochester (2017 and 2018), Mikah's work ethic on the course is exceptional and it shows.

She and her mom chose the Deluxe session for her senior portraits which allowed for several locations with a huge variety of backdrops.  After a brief stop at her salon to touch up her make-up and curl her hair, we met at her second destination, the George Eastman Museum. She continued to shine in and among the gorgeous architecture and foliage of this iconic Rochester landmark.

Mikah's plans for the fall are to attend William & Mary College in Virginia where she will become part of the NCAA Division 1 women's golf team.  I have no doubt she will continue to work hard and thrive in both her golfing career and the rigorous academic program the college offers.  A big thank you to mom (Courtney) and Mikah for choosing Hayes Photography for her senior portraits and best of luck in the fall and beyond!
