As a business owner I know the importance of presenting myself and my business in the best way possible.  From quality images and products to excellent customer service, every part of Hayes Photography has to live up to my standards.  That includes having my own headshots taken by a professional.  It's important to remember, especially in this social media frenzy world, that images speak volumes.  You are the face of your business so it's essential to have wonderful headshots of you to use on your various platforms to introduce yourself to potential customers.  Phone camera pictures just won't cut it!

Every year, I call upon one of many talented photographers that I know in the Rochester area and set up an appointment.  This year, I asked Michelle Macirella of Luminaria Photography to work her magic.  All aspects: clothing, hair, and location are important pieces to having images created that reflect you and who you are.  It was no different for me than any of my clients as far as preparing for my session.  It was a great reminder of what they go through.

I'm an outdoorsy person so I wanted to go on location for a casual look, but  I also wanted a studio environment for a more professional  look.  Fortunately, we were able to accomplish both.  Michelle was wonderful to work with!  We had a lot of fun (I won't show you the outtakes) and  I was very pleased with the results. 

Remember, you only get one chance to make a first impression and when your first impression is made on-line, whether through your website, LinkedIn or on Facebook, you want it to be a professional one. Make the investment and hire a professional photographer for your headshots.
